Salary: £31,870 – £38,583 pa inclusive with the potential to progress to £41,526 pa inclusive
The International Growth Centre (IGC) directs a global network of world-class researchers and policy experts in economics, political economy and related disciplines, and works closely with developing country to provide high-quality research, technical assistance and advice. We are seeking to appoint a Hub Economist. Based in London you will provide support to the Country Leadership Teams and connect researchers and policy specialists with the in-country research and policy projects, working closely with the Country Directors, Lead Academics and in-country economists for each country of engagement.
Good written and oral communication skills, as well as excellent programme management skills are essential, as is the ability to work under pressure, both as part of a team and as an individual. An undergraduate or advanced degree in Economics or a related discipline is essential. Experience of coordinating research or policy projects would be an important advantage.
